Give a «fishing rod», not a «fish». Empower a Ukrainian to rebuild: fund a PC for a new career.

In my culture, asking for help, especially financial help, is considered awkward and even shameful, particularly for a man.

However, my current need has become so critical that it has overcome my sense of shame. I find some comfort in the fact that I am not asking for "a fish," but for "a fishing rod" – the opportunity to earn a living on my own.

I apologize in advance if this message seems too long — it is important for me to honestly share what is on my soul. Also, English is not my native language, so I kindly ask for your understanding.

In Ukraine, where I live, the war has been going on for over three years now. I believe you are already aware of this. This situation has had an extremely negative impact on the job market and people’s incomes. Before the war, I provided legal services to small businesses, but with the start of the full-scale military actions, unfortunately, my work became unnecessary.

Despite this, I tried my best not to despair, actively searched for new job opportunities, and even learned new professions.

First, I completed training as a link building/outreach specialist (my linkbuilder cv). However, I was unable to find employment, as the job market was oversaturated, and everywhere required experienced professionals.

I did not give up and continued my education,moving on to a career in software testing (my qa specialist cv). Unfortunately, the situation repeated itself.

Nevertheless, I decided not to surrender and pursued my dream — I took courses to become a game designer (my game designer cv). A key requirement for employment in this field is having a portfolio.

The problem is that the power of my current computer and graphics card does not allow me to complete even a small project for a portfolio. Over these years, all of my modest savings have unfortunately run out. My current income is only enough to cover basic living expenses, so I cannot save up to buy the necessary equipment.

I also cannot gather donations on other websites because my country is not listed as available for fundraising on any of them. So, fundraising in cryptocurrency may be the only option for me to rebuild my life.

Your help would give me the opportunity to get the necessary tools to create a portfolio, which, in turn, will allow me to find a job and financially support my family, including my 75-year-old mother.

I do not want to appeal to pity, but rather to convey the enormous benefit and value your support will have for me and my family.

Your help will not only be a charity but also an investment in a person who is ready to work and create value. It will also help me become independent and able to help others.
