Help Ebrahim Walk Again
Ebrahim is a father of two who lost his leg after being severely injured during protests in Iran.
On January 8, Ebrahim was shot in the leg. The injury caused devastating damage to the bones in his leg. Because of fear of arrest and the danger surrounding injured protesters, he did not seek immediate hospital treatment.
As time passed, the injury became severely infected. Eventually, doctors had no choice but to amputate his leg in order to save his life.
Today, Ebrahim is facing a completely different life.
He is a father of two children and has a family who depends on him. Losing his leg has not only taken away his ability to walk normally, but has also made it extremely difficult for him to work, support his children, and live independently.
Ebrahim now needs a prosthetic leg to regain his mobility and rebuild his life.
The cost of the prosthesis is approximately $12,000 (around 2.5 billion Iranian tomans).
For Ebrahim, this is not simply a medical device. It is a chance to stand again. A chance to walk beside his children. A chance to work again and provide for his family. A chance to regain some of the independence he lost.
