Help Me Continue My Medical Treatment
Hello, my name is Ali, and I live in Iran.
For some time now, I have been dealing with a chronic neurological condition that has significantly affected my daily life. During my medical evaluations and MRI scans, lesions were found in my brain and spinal cord, and my doctors have raised the possibility of a demyelinating disease, including multiple sclerosis (MS). My diagnosis and treatment are still ongoing, and I continue to need medical follow-ups, tests, medication, and regular care.
For me, this illness is much more than a few medical reports or hospital visits. Some days, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and neurological symptoms make ordinary things much harder than they should be. At the same time, the cost of doctors' visits, medical tests, imaging, and treatment has become a heavy financial burden.
I live in Iran, where access to medical care can be financially difficult for someone with a limited income. Expenses that might seem manageable to some people can represent a significant part of my monthly income. There are times when I have to choose between covering basic living expenses and paying for the medical care I need.
I am starting this fundraiser because I need help continuing my treatment. It is not easy for me to ask strangers for financial support, and honestly, there is some embarrassment in having to do this. But continuing my treatment is more important than that feeling.
The money raised will be used for genuine medical expenses, including doctor's appointments, diagnostic tests, medical imaging, medication, and ongoing follow-up care.
I don't want to exaggerate my situation or make my story sound worse than it is. I simply want the opportunity to continue my treatment without constantly worrying about whether I can afford the next medical appointment or test.
